Together with Lola’s Place—our on-site coffee shop, restaurant, bar, and gathering hub—The Leland House is nestled in Durango’s charming Second Avenue District, just one block off historic Main Avenue. Here, guests are within walking distance to some of the city’s best restaurants, shops, and the Durango-Silverton Train Station. For those who love the outdoors, we’re three blocks from Durango’s 20+ mile River Trail and easily accessible to over 100 miles of natural trails within the city limits.

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Leland House Suites in Durango. A boutique hotel experience with lovely touches like fresh flowers, toiletries, and a fantastically comfortable bed and fresh linens. It was spotlessly clean. All the appliances were brand new at the time of our stay and the suite had been newly remodeled and updated with comfortable furniture. Alec and staff were very prompt in all their communication and were either present on site to check that we had everything we needed or answered texts within minutes when we had questions. The bar and food trucks with covered patio that adjoin the hotel was a fantastic area to relax at the end of a the day and visit with other guests, and the coffee shop next door was so convenient for coffee and breakfast too. We enjoyed Durango and skiing at Purgatory and hope to go back, and if we do would love stay again at Leland House.”

“We stayed here just after the place had been taken over by two talented and ambitious young guys. Casual chique.The building is a charming apartment building from the late 20s in downtown Durango. You cannot get a better location. Suites are spacious, well equipped and spotlessly clean. The owners are super friendly and go out of their way to make your stay a great one. Complimentary drinks with local brews in the little patio in front of the building offered a chance to chat with the owners and get to know some of the other guests. Probably the best accommodation in Durango.”

“***Incredible location downtown Durango*** quiet neighborhood, yet WALKING DISTANCE from everything: espresso, bakery, restaurants, sky steps trail, Horse Gulch mountain biking trails, restaurants, bars, and bakeries as well as shopping. ***Superior hospitality*** never experienced any where else! My favorite part of each and every suite is the COZY fireplace/gas stove. Charming suites are both cozy and elegant. The bathrooms are tiled beautifully and the kitchens are nicely appointed and fully functional for making all meals! Make this your number one choice for staying one week or one month in Durango!”
