The Leland House

About Us

Our Family Welcomes You to The Leland House!

The Leland House Suites was owned and run by mother and son duo Kirk Komick and Diane Wildfang for 27 years with the mission of allowing visitors to live, work, and play like a local. That mission remains intact with the passing of the baton to the Ensign family in 2021.

The Ensigns – parents Tonya and Chuck Ensign, their son Alec, and his partner Dominic – aim to keep the Leland legacy alive as a family-owned and operated business for the next generation of Durangoans and visitors to the area.

In addition, they have purchased the neighboring historic Lola’s Place, and are taking strides in revitalizing the Second Avenue District with food, drink, and entertainment options.

During your stay, be sure to say hello to Alec, Dominic, and Tonya as you explore all there is to offer at the historic Leland House Suites!
